Battle of the Stains: Removing Pencil and Sharpie Marks from Stone Countertops

Are you dealing with stubborn Pencil or Sharpie marks on your stone countertops? Should you be worried? In our latest Stone Care and Maintenance video, we put three cleaning methods to the test to see which one reigns supreme.

Soap and Water: We always start with the basics – soap and water. This is the first line of defense in stone countertop maintenance. While soap and water began the process of removing the pencil marks, it fell short of achieving complete success.

Dawn Powerwash: Next up, we brought in Dawn Powerwash. This powerful cleaner really helped to lift the pencil marks, but did it provide a flawless finish?

Bar Keepers Friend: As a final resort, we turned to Bar Keepers Friend. Known for its effectiveness on tough stains, Bar Keepers Friend stepped in and worked its magic. But did it deliver the knockout punch?

And what about Sharpie marks? We all know how challenging those can be to remove. All of our weapons tried their best, but were they successful? You'll have to watch our video to find out!
